Rugby Australia are reportedly attempting to lure NRL second-row forward Angus Crichton

The Sydney Morning Herald claims the governing body has tabled a two-year, 1.7 million dollar offer.

As a former Australian schoolboys rugby representative, Crichton's potential switch would see him join Roosters team-mate Joseph Suaalii.

Suaalii has signed a three-year deal with RA, estimated at more than five million dollars.

The offer comes as Rugby Australia deal with fall-out from the Wallabies expected World Cup pool play exit.
