MetService has issued road snowfall warnings for the lower South Island on Monday

MetService has issued road snowfall warnings for the lower South Island on Monday

Lindis Pass and Crown Range Road can expect a few snow showers from Monday afternoon, but little if any snow is expected to settle on the road.

Milford Road is expected to see rain turn to snow showers, with up to three centimetres of snow possibly falling near Homer Tunnel.

Further up the island, a warning for Lewis Road on State Highway 7 has been cancelled.
