The Warriors playmaker has been announced as the Rugby League Players' Association's "Player's Champion" for 2023.
It comes after he controversially missed out on the Dally-M to Newcastle's Kalyn Ponga.
After beating out team-mate Addin Fonua-Blake and the Brisbane trio of Adam Reynolds, Payne Haas and Reece Walsh to win the gong for the first time - Johnson says it's a huge honour.
The award is decided by an end-of-season 3-2-1 vote by the players - who aren't allowed to vote for their team-mates.
