Despite Police searches, a diver last seen in Porirua's Titahi Bay six days ago is still missing

Jinting Guo is believed to have gone diving alone near where his car was found on Monday.

A member of the public also reported finding diving equipment including a smart watch on the shore of nearby Tirau Bay on the same day.

LandSar Wellington has conducted land based shoreline searches in the area.

Police are also consulting with local iwi and other enquiries to locate the man -- including establishing his possible dive and swim path.
