Aucklanders travelling across the Harbour Bridge this morning, may have some extra foot traffic to deal with

Around 14-thousand runners will be taking part in the Auckland Marathon today, running 42.2 kilometres from Devonport to Victoria Park.

Two southbound lanes on the Bridge are closed for the race until 11:30am.

Organiser Amy McCormack says it may mean some drivers waiting an extra few minutes...but nothing more significant than that.
