Code-hopping athlete Niall Williams-Guthrie has indicated she's likely to play in the midfield for the Blues, despite her limited experience in union coming in the forwards

The Black Ferns Sevens veteran has signed for Super Rugby Aupiki, filling the gap in between women's NRL rugby league campaigns with the Gold Coast Titans.

Williams-Guthrie's only experience in the 15s game came when Covid forced the World Sevens circuit to stop.

Williams-Guthrie has played down any Black Ferns aspirations, saying she's more focussed on reaching the Rugby League World Cup.
