Negotiations to form a new government will resume today

Negotiations to form a new government will resume today

Talks between National, Act and New Zealand First are ongoing -- with this Friday marking three weeks since the final vote count was released.

Former National Party Deputy Leader Paula Bennett says they might be taking some time - but so they should.

She says we haven't seen a true three way coalition before.

Bennett says you don't become the leader of a political party without having strong views, so there's a few egos involved - and they're all conviction politicians, so it will take time.
