Tamihere was found guilty of murdering two Swedish tourists -- convictions he's now fighting.
The Court of Appeal will come back with a decision next year.
The Crown says evidence of a now perjured jailhouse confession shouldn't have been used -- but, this doesn't mean his convictions should be quashed.
