Two men accused of murdering an Ellerslie couple earlier this month have pleaded not guilty

Joseph Kwok was found dead in his home on November 6, while his wife Mei Han Chong's body was found in a bush area in Greenhithe on November 9.

Justice Matthew Downs has set down a six week trial starting in late April, 2025.

The couple's son watched this morning's proceedings in Auckland's High Court from the public gallery, flanked by detectives.

The accused pair, aged 42 and 26, have been remanded in custody until trial.
