1 December 2023
It relates to the supply of magnetic puzzle toys supplied through NZME's previously owned online store Grab One - a child swallowed two magnets and required significant emergency surgery.
They were supplied in breach of an unsafe goods notice.
The fine has now more than doubled to $195-thousand.
