Football Ferns squad member Manaia Elliott is clearing up the confusion around her main football position

Football Ferns squad member Manaia Elliott is clearing up the confusion around her main football position

Her Wellington Phoenix club coach Paul Temple questioned New Zealand Football's decision to call up the 18-year-old as an injury replacement for defender Meikayla Moore ahead of tomorrow's friendly against Colombia.

That's despite Elliott playing as a forward at club level.

But the youngster has straightened out the debate.
