    Two people have been airlifted out of Otago's Mount Aspiring National Park this morning


    Maritime New Zealand's Rescue Coordination Centre received a beacon alert at 8am and sent a helicopter from Queenstown to pick up the party from Siberia Hut.

    One person's been transported to Queenstown's Lakes District Hospital with an injured ankle.
