    Queenstown Lakes District Council has lifted a boil water notice for remaining parts of the tourist town - in place since an outbreak of illness caused by cryptosporidium


    Mayor Glyn Lewers says water regulator Taumata Arowai confirms it's met the requirements of a compliance order.

    Lewers says new UV reactors installed at Two Mile water treatment plant are fully operational.

    He says all live network reservoirs have been inspected and cleaned, and the local network's been flushed.
