An uncertain mood, of both confidence and concern, around the farming sector

An uncertain mood, of both confidence and concern, around the farming sector

Beef and Lamb NZ's annual report shows weather was a challenge earlier in the year, along with on-farm inflation.

But autumn has been positive for lambs - and the lamb crop's expected to grow by 2.6 percent.

Agriculture Analyst, Angie Fisher, says there is still a lot of concern.

She it's a tough year profitability-wise, so morale's still pretty low.
