No prolonged celebrations for Lukas Walton-Keim after securing New Zealand a berth in the men's kite-foil field at next year's Olympics

No prolonged celebrations for Lukas Walton-Keim after securing New Zealand a berth in the men's kite-foil field at next year's Olympics

He's locked in the spot with a runner-up finish at the Sail Sydney regatta.

The winner of the national title earns the right to compete in Paris - and Walton-Keim is quickly shifting focus to that event.

Greta Pilkington has also earned New Zealand a spot in the Laser Radial - to go with the six classes the country qualified at the World Champs in August.
