Two people have been arrested in relation to the death of Palmerston North man, Hori Gage

He was shot in his vehicle on Sunday August 6 outside his Croydon Avenue home in front of his children.

Police say it was a response to a Mongrel Mob and Black Power altercation at a Hokowhitu bar two days earlier -- where senior Black Power member was stabbed.

An 18-year-old is charged with injuring with intent -- and a 25-year-old man faces wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm charge.

Detective Sergeant Dave Wilson says these arrests are a part of a homicide investigation.
