Numerous fire crews, and two helicopters, are battling a large blaze in Porirua's Titahi Bay - that could take days to put out

People are asked to stay away, and shut their windows, as smoke fills the air around the Hutt Valley.
It has burned through about 10 hectares of vegetation.
Fire and Emergency Assistant Commander Steve Hudson says it would be many rugby fields connected.
He says it's over ridges, down in gullies, and in the flats as well.
Fire and Emergency has told our newsroom it could take two days to fully extinguish.
