    Food price inflation has eased off, dramatically

    Food price inflation has eased off, dramatically


    Latest figures from Infometrics show Foodstuffs grocery supplier costs, increased 4.5 percent last year.

    That compares to a 10-percent rise the year before.

    Principal Economist Brad Olsen says fuel prices decreasing has been welcome news.

    He says they're expecting inflation to stay more under control this year.
