Kosta Barbarouses can break a Wellington Phoenix club record if he's to score against Melbourne Victory tonight

Kosta Barbarouses can break a Wellington Phoenix club record if he's to score against Melbourne Victory tonight

The forward has found his form this season, scoring a staggering 8 goals in 5 games.

No Phoenix player has ever scored in six consecutive matches.

And while Barbarouses hopes he can continue his run starting this weekend, he says it can't be achieved without a strong squad behind him.

The winner of tonight's game in Wellington will be top of the A-league table.
