Bus services in the capital are being added and expanded - as more drivers join the network

A new route from the Wellington suburb of Northland, through to Strathmore, is being added - with stops at the University and Hospital.

Greater Wellington Regional Council Chair, Daran Ponter calls it a positive step forward after recent Covid difficulties and driver shortages.

He says they acknowledge the frustration, but we're out the back end of that now.

A number of other buses will come more often - or have their routes extended.
