The majority of people still appreciate credit card reward schemes, like Airpoints and Flybuys

It's despite most banks significantly reducing the points-earning potential of their rewards credit cards, to balance out the loss in revenue.
That was prompted by the introduction of a cap on credit card transaction fees in November 2022.
Head of Publishing at Banked Kevin McHugh says the move angered customers at the time, but that's largely dissipated.
He says it could be due to a number of reasons - but suspects the main one is people have short memories.
