The Prime Minister insists there's been no confusion about the Government upping police by 500 within two years

The Prime Minister insists there's been no confusion about the Government upping police by 500 within two years

Yesterday Police Minister Mark Mitchell officially corrected the record in the House, after the previous day saying it would take three years to deliver.

Chris Luxon denies his Government's been unclear on this message.

He says 500 new police officers will be delivered over two years -- he says the Minister clarified his position, but there's been no ambiguity from himself.
