The seemingly tireless veteran football manager Neil Warnock has been appointed to run his 17th club in British football at the age of 75, stepping in as Aberdeen boss until the end of the season in the Scottish Premiership

Warnock has had more than four decades in management, coming out of retirement last year for a second stint at Huddersfield.
He holds the record in the English game for the most promotions, with eight, and the most games as a professional manager.
