    Optimism from Liam Lawson that a year where he may not race at all will still be a step closer towards his Formula One dream


    After contesting the Japanese Super Formula series and getting a late call-up for five F1 Grand Prix drives in 2023 - the Kiwi driver's only confirmed commitment this year is as the reserve for Red Bull Racing's two F1 teams.

    Lawson's says he'll be more involved in the F1 environment than he's ever been - but may well have no racing at all at the elite level.
