Some not for profit executives earn as much as Cabinet ministers, or more

Some not for profit executives earn as much as Cabinet ministers, or more

The Herald's Matt Nippert has revealed salaries for the top earners range from 200-thousand-dollars, to more than 500-thousand.

ChildFund head, Josie Pagani didn't make the list, but says the mentality charity staffers should be paid less, needs changing.

She says one reason charities don't always succeed - is it's hard to attract the best people away from the private sector.

Pagani says people don't work for charities to get rich, but do it because they believe in the cause - so they should be paid what they're worth.
