Warriors coach Andrew Webster's dismissed a Lewis Hamilton like saga playing out this year with departing prop Addin Fonua-Blake

The Tongan international will leave the NRL club at season's end to join the Cronulla Sharks after requesting a release from his contract for personal reasons.

Webster says Fonua-Blake's determined to finish his Warriors tenure on a high.

The Warriors host the Wests Tigers in their first preseason trial on Sunday at Christchurch.

Four Warriors players will represent the Maori All Stars in Friday night's clash with the Indigenous All Stars in Townsville.
