    New Zealand basketball great Mika Vukona's revealed Tom Abercrombie's career almost never was


    The 36-year-old captain will retire at the end of the Australian NBL season after 16 years with the New Zealand club.

    Vukona is proud of Abercrombie for overcoming early struggles in his career after a stint at US college Washington State.
