    A man has been arrested, despite reportedly trying to evade Auckland Police with a swift wardrobe change


    About 4.40pm yesterday, the Police helicopter tracked a vehicle linked to the man driving dangerously on Mount Wellington Highway.

    He was wanted in relation to burglaries in recent months.

    Police say the man entered Sylvia Park shopping centre - and he's accused of stealing clothing to change his appearance, before being stopped by officers waiting outside.

    The man's appearing in the Auckland District Court today facing charges relating to shoplifting, failing to stop, and traffic offending
