    Maiu'u, yet to debut in first grade, was sent off after 20 minutes for shoulder-to-head contact on Tigers centre Declan Casey.

    Coach Andrew Webster says Maiu'u was in the mix for a spot in the early rounds.



    Meanwhile, fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has suffered a hamstring niggle, leaving him in doubt for round one.
