    Meanwhile - Auckland have beaten Otago by four wickets in Dunedin to reach the Ford Trophy domestic one-day grand final.

    The hosts were bowled out for 276, with Volts opener Luke Georgeson top-scoring with 120.

    In reply, centuries to Martin Guptill and Robbie O'Donnell saw the Aces reach the target of 277 with nine balls to spare.

    Auckland will take on Canterbury in the decider on Saturday.

    The 23 year old - who never started a match in his three seasons at the Chiefs - has re-lived the moment he learned of his selection.





    Blues lock Josh Beehre will make his debut in his home town of Whangarei against the Drua on Saturday afternoon.
