Concern in Taupo - for parents waiting to hear from schools in lockdown

At least five schools in Hilltop and Tauhara are in lockdown, as Police deal with an incident in Hilltop.

    Multiple streets are cordoned off.

The Waikato Herald's Daniel Hutchinson says hundreds of cars are parked waiting.

He says one mother he spoke to was incredibly worried about her son who has anxiety.
