Police say the majority of Electric Avenue attendees were well-behaved, at the country's biggest one-day festival in Christchurch

Police say the majority of Electric Avenue attendees were well-behaved, at the country's biggest one-day festival in Christchurch

Punters have taken to social media to praise the festival's new layout - which saw 35-thousand people pack out Hagley Park.

The festival was headlined by UK electronic duo The Chemical Brothers - and supported by local acts L.A.B, Shapeshifter and Six60.

Hato Hone St John, received four call outs relating to the event - with one person transported to Christchurch Hospital in serious condition.

There were some arrests for fighting around the venue, but no reports of any further issues. 02-25-24 1223
