Neil Wagner's delivered his final short-ball barrage for his adopted country

Neil Wagner's delivered his final short-ball barrage for his adopted country

The Black Caps left-arm seamer has announced his retirement from test cricket - after the series against Australia starting Thursday in Wellington.

Barring an injury crisis, he won't play a farewell test with coach Gary Stead confirming he will not be picked for the first test and will be released before the second match in Christchurch.

Wagner says that was relayed to him last week and he chose to accept an invite to join the side.
