New South Wales Police could consider installing GPS trackers on all firearms -- after allegations a serving officer murdered a Sydney couple

New South Wales Police could consider installing GPS trackers on all firearms -- after allegations a serving officer murdered a Sydney couple

Last week, the bodies of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies were found inside surfboard bags at a rural property in Bungonia -- about 200-kilometres southwest of the city.

Police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon is charged with murdering the pair at Baird's Paddington home on February 19.

Investigators allege the 28-year-old used a police-issued firearm.

An inquiry's underway into how the state's Police can access firearms.
