Two people have been arrested after a cash box was stolen from a Bucklands Beach superette

A group of three fled the store with the box, just after three yesterday afternoon.

Nobody was injured and no threats were made to the worker inside.

A member of the public who witnessed the incident helped Police track two of the alleged offenders and recover the cash box.

Two people, aged 20 and 19, will appear in Manukau District Court next week, charged with burglary.

They're searching for a third offender.
