The Herald's Open Justice reports the black Holden HSV Clubsport R8 has "sentimental value" for the jailed drug manufacturer.
The 50-year-old is currently serving a jail sentence of five years and three months for his part in a drug ring.
He was sentenced in 2022 after pleading guilty to manufacturing meth, possessing materials to manufacture meth, supplying meth, and participating in an organised criminal group.
Police seized five vehicles belonging to him and his partner during an operation in 2020.
