Some closure for Janak Patel's family, after one of the men involved in his murder pleads guilty

Some closure for Janak Patel's family, after one of the men involved in his murder pleads guilty

Patel was fatally stabbed at Sandringham's Rose Cottage Superette in November 2022, while Frederick Hobson attempted to grab the cash register.

Hobson's plead guilty to murder and faces sentencing in June, with two others awaiting trial after pleading not guilty.

Dairy and Business Owner's Group chair Sunny Kaushal says Patel's death still haunts his family.

He says it's a trauma hurting his family every minute of every day -- with his sister really feeling it today.
