New Zealand footwear brand Allbirds has revealed its chief executive is leaving -- and up to a quarter of its stores are closing, after posting another significant loss

The San Fransisco-based brand is also warning of lower revenue and more losses in the year ahead.

Chief Executive Joey Zwillinger will follow co-founder Tim Brown in quitting the executive suite.

Up to a quarter of the 60 All Bird stores around the world will close -- with 10 to 15 stores closing this year.
