New Zealand's four-time winner of the Bathurst 1000 and now Road Safety Advocate, Greg Murphy, isn't in favour of autonomous driving systems

The self driving cars are becoming more popular but passing less safety tests and raising concerns on their reliability.

Murphy says although its attempting to combat distracted drivers and fatigue - it just isn't safe.

He says if you think you are better off letting the car do the job then you shouldn't have a licence.
