Belief the White Ferns youngsters are far better equipped for the rigours of international cricket as they look ahead to the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh in September

New Zealand take on England at University Oval this afternoon in the first of their five T20s.

They'll be without the experience of Sophie Devine and Amelia Kerr for the opener as they return from playing in the Indian Premier League.

Skipper Suzie Bates says most of the squad have been building experience since the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
