    To rugby league's NRL..

    To rugby league's NRL..

Visiting Penrith have overcome the absence of star halfback Nathan Cleary to wrap up a 22-16 win over the Sydney Roosters - .

Panthers wing Sunia Turuva collected the first hat-trick of his NRL career as the defending champs opened up a 16-point buffer early in the second half - the Roosters closing the eventual margin with a pair of late consolation tries.

Cleary's hamstring injury could have him sidelined for up to a month - as he joins Kiwis pair James Fisher-Harris and Scott Sorensen in the casualty ward.
