    Police have left the scene of a party that erupted into a disturbance on Auckland's Princes Wharf


    About 50 police had arrived on the scene after they were called about 7.20.

    A witness told our newsroom people on an apartment balcony had been throwing drinks and screaming at Police officers at Shed 20 on Princes Wharf, near the Hilton.

    A smaller group of men ran out the entrance and went at the Police officers, when the witness heard glass smash and tear gas or pepper spray go off.

    Police say there were no serious injuries, but some of those involved received treatment for injuries sustained in the fight.
