    Waikato Police are urging drivers to be mindful of farm vehicles after three serious tractor crashes on Saturday


    Two people were seriously injured after a car and tractor collided on Oparure Road near Te Kuiti.

    A motorcyclist died after colliding with a tractor on Piakonui Road in the Matamata-Piako District.

    On Saturday night, four people were injured -- one seriously -- after a tractor crashed with a car at the intersection of Pond Road and State Highway 29, in the same district.

    Police say they've observed an increase in agricultural vehicles on Waikato roads, as farmers take advantage of the dry weather.

    The official Easter Weekend road toll stands at six.
