A pioneering fishing business which harvests surf clams has gone into receivership

Marlborough-based Cloudy Bay Clams made the decision made due to ongoing cash flow pressure and difficult trading conditions.
The receivers are yet to establish the full extent of creditor claims, but estimate they are around four-point-five million dollars.
The company employs about 20 staff.
