    Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from tennis' Monte Carlo Masters, saying his 37-year-old body is not ready for competition


    The news casts doubt on whether the 22-time grand slam champion will compete at the French Open, which he has won 14 times.

    He has not played an ATP event since Brisbane in January.
