The Minister in charge says moving people off welfare and into work will benefit them

The Minister in charge says moving people off welfare and into work will benefit them

The Government's set nine targets to complete by 2030.

One of those is reducing the number of people on the Jobseeker Support Benefit by 50-thousand.

Minister for Social Development, Louise Upston, says she's happy to be held to account for a target like this.

She says they'll break the goal down into regions and districts, working with businesses and community organisations.
