Some people will leave the public service of their own accord, while others will be shown the door

Some people will leave the public service of their own accord, while others will be shown the door

Callaghan Innovation and the Ministry of Health are the latest to propose job losses -- while MSD and the Ministry for the Environment are giving staff the opportunity to apply for voluntary redundancy.

The Prime Minister says voluntary redundancies, job losses and attrition are all pieces of the puzzle, alongside scaling back spending on contractors and consultants.
