Families of those killed in a US school shooting have made emotional courtroom speeches, as the hammer's brought down on a landmark case

Families of those killed in a US school shooting have made emotional courtroom speeches, as the hammer's brought down on a landmark case

Ethan Crumbley killed four students when he opened fire at a Michigan high school in 2021 - he was sentenced to life without parole.

His parents James and Jennifer Crumbley were found guilty of involuntary manslaughter - for their failure to secure the gun used in the shooting.

The pair have each been sentenced to between 10 and 15 years in prison.

A victim's mother Nicole Beausoleil says she's had to go through the hardest thing a mother can.

She says while the Crumbleys were hiding, she was planning a funeral and while they were running from their son and responsibilities, she had to say goodbye to her Madisyn.
