Warriors coach Andrew Webster has backed a late penalty call that helped them force golden-point extra-time in their 22-all NRL draw with Manly at Mt Smart

Warriors coach Andrew Webster has backed a late penalty call that helped them force golden-point extra-time in their 22-all NRL draw with Manly at Mt Smart

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Trailing 22-20 in the final seconds - halfback Shaun Johnson was hit in the leg by a Sea Eagles defender Josh Aloiai as he attempted a two-point field-goal.

Webster has no qualms with the decision to award the Warriors a penalty right in front of the posts - citing hooker Freddy Lussick's four-game ban for a similar incident in the New South Wales cup.
