The NRL have rubbed salt into the wound for Josh Aloiai , with the Manly prop facing a ban for the dangerous contact that cost his side victory at Mount Smart

Aloiai was hit with a grade-two dangerous contact charge for running into Shaun Johnson, after the Warriors halfback attempted a two-point field goal.
The contact was penalised by the bunker after the siren, allowing Johnson to kick the Warriors level before a golden point stalemate.
Aloiai will miss Manly's trip to Gold Coast next weekend with an early guilty plea, or two if he contests the charge and is unsuccessful.
Johnson says protecting the kicker is in the spotlight currently...
